Breaking News: Dental Technologists' Exam Results Released in Record Time!
In a remarkable display of efficiency, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that an impressive 101 out of 118 candidates have successfully passed the Dental Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination held in December 2025. This achievement is made even more remarkable by the fact that the results were released in just one working day after the examination concluded.
The esteemed Board of Dentistry, comprising Dr. Merlin A. Go (Chairman), Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, and Dr. Ellis James B. Ranada, oversaw the examination process. Their dedication and expertise have undoubtedly contributed to the smooth and swift release of the results.
But here's where it gets controversial... or at least, potentially interesting for discussion. Starting February 16, 2026, the registration process for the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be conducted entirely online. This move towards digital registration is a significant step towards modernization, but it also raises questions about accessibility and the potential challenges faced by those who may not have easy access to the internet or digital devices.
To register, successful examinees will need to visit the PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for initial registration. They will also need to prepare the following documents: the downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes), two passport-sized colored photographs with a white background and a complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.
Furthermore, successful examinees are required to personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. This step ensures the integrity of the registration process and provides an opportunity for the new professionals to take ownership of their achievements.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony, a significant milestone for these new dental technologists, will be announced at a later date.
